Manage Users

In this option you will be able to assign user IDs and passwords and give only the access necessary for a user to fulfill their jobs. There are 4 subsets of access given, Site Management, Product Management, Order Management and Miscellaneous. If all fields are checked, then the user will have access to all options. Not all options may appear in your admin area. The following is a breakdown of options found in each group of security access.

Site Management – Site Setup, Billing Setup, Shipping Setup, Tax Setup, Site Settings, Text Settings, Other Buttons, and Button Contents

Product Management – Product Categories, Add New Item, Edit View Item, Copy Items, Modify Multiple Items, Product Search and Featured Products

Order Management – Create Customer, Customer Lookup, Order Lookup and View Orders

Misc – Manage Users, Auto Process Orders, Generate Reports, External Entity Setup, and External Load

There are fields for entry of User Name and Password . You can make the appropriate entries and click on the Add New button and the data will be saved. Once a user is entered, if a name or password needs to be changed or deleted you can click on the Update or Delete button and the entry will be changed or deleted. After user name and password has been entered, select the options that the user may see. The default is that all options are available to a new user. You must de-select any options they may not have.
