Featured Products 

In the Featured Products option you can designate certain products to be featured on the main page of your catalog. You can elect whether to have them displayed below your normal main page content when the site is initially accessed, or whether they should only be accessed through a button on the navigation bar. If there are no featured products the button on the navigation bar, called Featured Products, will not be displayed.

In the first section of the Featured Products screen there is an alphabetical listing of all your products in a box called ‘Products Not Featured’. Simply highlight the item(s) to be featured. You can hold down the CTRL key to select multiple products. Once your items are selected, click the Add to Featured Products button. 

The next box, Layout, allows you to select one of three layouts with 1 - 3 products displayed across the page. Click the button beside the layout you wish to select. You also can select whether to show the featured items on the main page. Once your selection has been made click the Update Layout button. 

After selecting the featured items, you will be able to chose information that will be displayed for each item and a special message/description about featured product. The sequence of appearance is alphabetical no matter when you select the product. You will be able to scroll to view and edit all selected products. The system will default to displaying all information, you can un-click those you do not wish to display.

The product name will appear and then the following selection fields:

Show Name

Show Category

Show Description

Show Price

Show Picture

Show Special Description

Show Add to Cart Button

Show Details Button

 Other Text For This Item

 Once you have selected the featured item information click the Update button. If you want to remove a featured item, click the Remove button.
