Copy Items 

In the Copy Items option you have the ability to copy a product’s basic detail as well as select other optional features to copy such as pictures, tax overrides, customer discounts, options, specials, and sale prices.

At the top of the screen is a drop down box titled Select Item to Copy. Click  the item you wish to copy and enter the new item’s product code in the New Product Code field. Then enter the new item’s product name in the New Product Name field. If you wish to copy any of the other options click in the Copy Pictures, Copy Taxes, Copy Discounts, Copy Options, Copy Sale and Copy Special boxes. You may check as many of these boxes that are applicable to the new item. Then click on Make a Copy. Copying inventory is not an option at this time. If you are tracking inventory, you must enter the inventory quantities for this new product.

You will now see a Copy Item Results screen that will list everything that was successfully copied. If an option failed, the following message will appear: ‘The remaining details have not been copied...’
